As part of our ongoing initiative to support students in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs), we had the opportunity to visit the Dakshana Center of Excellence at JNV Bengaluru Urban. This visit allowed us to engage with some of the brightest young minds who are being nurtured under the Dakshana program.
The Dakshana Foundation is dedicated to empowering academically talented yet economically underprivileged students, primarily from rural India, by providing intensive coaching for highly competitive exams like IIT-JEE and NEET. Through its programs, Dakshana focuses on breaking the cycle of poverty through quality education and mentorship.
During our visit, we interacted closely with these motivated students, gaining insight into their aspirations and academic journeys. We distributed books and study materials to support their preparation and conducted guidance sessions to help them better understand career opportunities, the importance of consistent effort, and strategies to achieve their goals.
It was inspiring to witness the determination and discipline of these students. Our engagement aimed not only to provide resources but also to encourage and motivate them to continue striving for excellence. This visit reaffirmed our commitment to supporting such talented individuals and contributing meaningfully to their educational journey and future success.
